Privacy Policy

Summary

Walli is a year-at-a-glance calendar for households. We collect only what is needed to run your calendar, sync it through Walli Cloud, verify access, process purchases through the payment provider shown at checkout, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your calendar contents and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data you create

Events, places, household names, people on the Who filter, categories, look preferences, and similar calendar content you enter are stored on your device. You control what you put on the calendar.

Walli Cloud

If you create or use a Walli Cloud account, we store your email or Apple account identifier, authentication data, and the calendar data you choose to sync so iPhone and web can stay aligned. Built-in sample and demo calendars are treated as disposable and are not uploaded as your real household calendar.

Read-only share links you create expose the calendar snapshot you choose to share to anyone who has the link, until you revoke them.

Apple services

• Sign in with Apple: If you choose it, Apple provides Walli a stable account identifier and, when authorized, a verified email and name. Walli uses these to sign you in to Walli Cloud. Household sharing itself is provided through Walli Cloud.
• Optional iCloud Drive backup: If enabled, a backup snapshot may be stored in your personal iCloud Drive for restore only. That is not the same as household share or Walli Cloud.
• In-App Purchases: Walli Plus is sold through Apple. Apple processes payment. We receive entitlement status (for example, whether Plus is active), not your full card number.

Payments and service providers

Apple processes App Store purchases. If direct website purchasing becomes available, Stripe will process that checkout and billing portal. Walli receives purchase and entitlement details needed to provide access, but does not store your full payment card number. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and Walli Cloud infrastructure. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Optional permissions on iPhone

• Photo library: only if you set a profile picture on the dock.
• Calendar: only if you export a plan or presence into Apple Calendar. Walli remains the source of truth for the year view.
• Notifications: only if you use plan reminders (Walli Plus).

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal calendar contents.
• We do not use your calendar for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
• The iOS privacy manifest marks tracking as off (NSPrivacyTracking false).

Children

Walli is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13. Household calendars may include family life events entered by adults who manage the calendar.

Retention and deletion

Device data remains until you delete it or remove the app. Cloud calendar data remains while your account is active. Contact us to request account deletion; we will remove Cloud account data we control within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention needs. Purchase and billing history controlled by Apple or Stripe follows that provider's retention requirements.

International use

Walli may be used worldwide. Cloud data may be processed on infrastructure in regions used by our hosting providers (for example Cloudflare). By using Walli Cloud, you understand your data may be processed outside your home country with appropriate safeguards for the service.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for that use.
